About

A firm built around one conviction.

Regulated AI needs enforceable technical controls and reviewable evidence, not policies alone.

What we work on

Founded in Athens in 2026, GAIA25 helps regulated European firms use modern AI while retaining practical control of data, evidence and accountability. Our focus is explaining not only which model was used, but which data, sources, authority and human decisions shaped the outcome.

How we help

We advise regulated EU firms on defensible AI governance: data location and access, applicable EU AI Act deployer duties, ICT dependencies under DORA and special-category data under GDPR.

We also provide senior compliance expertise on a part-time basis, without a full-time hire. Alongside this work, we are building GAIA Brain, a customer-hosted control and evidence layer for AI-assisted work.

What we believe

For firms subject to GDPR, DORA and sector rules, AI is useful only when access, data egress, sources and human accountability remain visible. We build that operating discipline rather than cover the gap with paperwork.

Stratos Laspas

Founder and managing partner

Stratos Laspas founded GAIA25 in 2026 and leads it as managing partner. He holds a degree in Applied Informatics and has twenty-five years of experience in regulated finance: operations management, investment-services internal audit (CISA certified), compliance, AMLRO and DPO roles across brokerage firms, banking groups and wealth management companies.

GAIA25 grows out of that experience. Stratos Laspas is building software solutions to operational and regulatory challenges he encountered throughout his career, helping European firms adopt AI they can explain and defend to a supervisor.
